Heward-Mills
Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is a megachurch pastor, evangelist, and prolific author. He is the founder of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC), spanning thousands of locations in over 90 countries.
A medical doctor by profession, he was called by God to the ministry in 1988. His Healing Jesus Campaigns have seen millions of souls saved and miracles of healing across Africa and the world.

Bishop Immanuel Obeng is the visionary Convener of the Candle in the Dark Church. As a dedicated leader within the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, he has carried the torch of the gospel to the nations.
Under his leadership, the Candle in the Dark denomination has grown to become a beacon of hope. His ministry is characterized by a deep passion for church planting and the raising of shepherds who serve with loyalty and excellence.
It was his instruction that led to the founding of our Rome branch in 2014, sending Shepherd Chris to plant the church that would eventually become a powerful testimony in the heart of Italy.

Twum Barima
Reverend Chris Twum Barima is the Head Pastor of Candle in the Dark Church, Rome. In February 2014, with loyalty and respect for his spiritual father, Bishop Immanuel Obeng, he embarked on a mission to start a new church branch in Rome.
Starting with just 37 members in a small hall at Rebibbia, he has shepherded the flock through various seasons of growth. From humble beginnings, the church has moved through the city, eventually establishing its home at Via delle Driadi.
Under his pastoral care, the church has not only grown in numbers but has also become a place where we can "talk boldly of miracles." His leadership oversaw the transformation of the church into the "Pleasant Surprise Church International" and finally to its current identity as the "Candle in the Dark Church."
